Lt Col Sandra Hodgson MBE (RLC)
Army Women Representative General Manager 2015-21
Presented by Maj Gen Celia Harvey OBE TD VR
Vice President Army FA

Sandra received an award in 2015 upon stepping down as Army Women Head Coach. However Sandra has since served the role as General Manager of the Army Women’s team.
This presentation is in recognition of Sandra’s additional role as General Manager of the Army Women’s team.

Sandra originally became involved with Army football in the late 1990s whilst posted in Germany. An exceptional leader on and off the pitch Sandra was given the captaincy in 2000/01 and selected to play for the UK Armed Forces (Combined Services in those days).

In total Sandra made 70 appearances for the Army and 20 for UKAF and, after completing her coaching badges, was appointed Assistant Coach in 2005 and Head Coach the following season. During her tenure the Army won six Inter Services and the Southern Counties Cup in 2012. Sandra stepped down earlier this year to focus on leaving the Army.

We wish you every success and happiness for the future Sandra and thank you for your outstanding dedication and commitment to Army Football over such a sustained period.
