The EWFC are very pleased to announce that Steve Hill has agreed to take on the permanent role of EWFC Over 60’s Manager.

Steve has also appointed Dave Borrow as his assistant.

Steve took up the role as caretaker manager in August just before the Rep of Ireland game and has since gone on a very successful run of 3 Internationals unbeaten.

He has brought the inherited squad together as a unit and they are playing as a squad in the right ethos of walking football both at training and in matches.

For the last international he topped up his squad with 5 trialists, who have all been offered squad places and on Nov 6th he will be having another large trial where he hopes to pick up some more when players from all over the country come together in Birmingham.

“The EWFC Council are very pleased Steve is joining us on a permanent basis and look forward to seeing what the future brings, we would like to wish both Steve and Dave all the very best and look forward to working with you both”
